General information about Saint Nicholas Church (Horodyshche)
The wooden church of Saint Nicholas in Horodyshche was built in 1914 on the site of an ancient church known since 1569. Construction continued for 3 years by the forces of captured Austrian soldiers.
An underground passage connected the Saint Nicholas Church with the Nativity of the Virgin Monastery. A parish school operated at the church. There is a miraculous spring nearby.
Дерев'яна церква Святого Миколая у Городищі збудована в 1914 році на місці стародавнього храму, відомого з 1569 року. Будівництво тривало протягом 3 років силами полонених австрійських солдатів.
Підземний хід поєднував Миколаївську церкву з монастирем Різдва Богородиці. При храмі діяла парафіяльна школа. Поруч знаходиться чудотворне джерело.
