Kherson Mountains (Reserve "Stanislavsky"), Stanislav

The rugged terrain on the slope of the Dnipro-Buh estuary on the eastern outskirts of the village of Stanislav is called the "Kherson mountains". It is an exposure of rocks of the Quaternary (anthropogenic) system.

A ravine 25 meters deep and 50 meters wide stretches about 600 meters to the seashore. The slopes are almost vertical. The shore of the estuary rises to a height of 55 meters in ledges.

Since 2002, this territory with an area of ​​659 hectares has been included in the "Stanislavsky" Landscape Reserve of national importance.

"Херсонськими горами" називають яристу місцевість на схилі Дніпровсько-Бузького лиману на східній околиці села Станіслав. Є оголенням гірських порід четвертинної (антропогенової) системи.

Яр глибиною 25 метрів та шириною 50 метрів тягнеться близько 600 метрів до самого берега моря. Схили мають майже вертикальне положення. Берег лиману уступами піднімається на висоту до 55 метрів.

З 2002 року ця територія площею 659 гектарів включена до Ландшафтного заказника загальнодержавного значення "Станіславський".
