Комунальна установа "Запорізький обласний художній музей" в підпорядкуванні Запорізької обласної ради репрезентує образотворче мистецтво XIX-ХХ століть.

Музей засновано 1971 року. Колекція, зібрана руками колективу мистецтвознавців, налічує понад 16 тисяч експонатів. Зокрема, експонуються полотна Івана Айвазовського, Олексія Боголюбова, Володимира Маковського, Миколи Пимоненка, Олександра Мурашка, Олександра Бенуа, Тетяни Яблонської, Миколи Глущенка. Сучасне мистецтво представлене роботами Олександра Ройтбурда, Івана Марчука, Анатолія Криволапа.
