Zaliztsi Museum of Local Lore, Zaliztsi

Zaliztsi Museum of Local Lore was founded in 2020 at the initiative of local historians. The museum is located in the assembly hall and library of Zaliztsi polyclinic.

The exposition tells about the nature of the region and the history of the village from the earliest times. In particular, the exhibition presents a sculpture of Saint Francis of the XIX century from the ruins of the monastery of the Order of the Sisters of Mercy in Zaliztsi.

In 2023, the archaeological exposition of the Zaliztsi Museum of Local Lore was opened. Залозецький краєзнавчий музей засновано 2020 року з ініціативи місцевих краєзнавців. Музей розташовується у реконструйованому приміщенні актової зали і бібліотеки Залозецької поліклініки.

Експозиція розповідає про природу краю та історію селища від найдавніших часів. Зокрема, представлена скульптура святого Франциска ХІХ століття із руїн монастиря Ордену сестер Милосердя в Залізцях.

2023 року відкрилася археологічна експозиція Залозецького краєзнавчого музею. Тут можна побачити скам'янілі рештки молюсків Сарматського моря, кремнієві вироби доби Мезоліту, кераміку Висоцької культури, натільні хрести XII-XIII століть, козацькі люльки та срібні монети XVII століття та інші знахідки з археологічних розкопок на території Залізців.
