The municipal institution of culture "Historical and local lore museum" of the Mezhova village council was founded in 1976 and is located in the premises of the Mezhova House of Culture.

Комунальний заклад культури "Історико-краєзнавчий музей" Межівської селищної ради зааснований 1976 року, розташовується в приміщенні Межівського будинку культури.

Фонди музею нараховують 2400 експонатів. В експозиції представлені археологічні знахідки скіфських часів, історичні матеріали періоду Української революції, років сталінських репресій, Другої світової війни, російсько-української війни.

Відтворено інтер'єр української хати XIX – початку XX століття: лави, плетене дитяче ліжко, самовари, макітри, коромисла, рубелі, праски, прялка.

У розділі "Видатні люди Межівщини" експонуються матеріали про письменників Саву Божка, Івана Костирю та інших.
