The exhibition presents many unique things, including the metric book of the local church, which records Hlafira Opokova: her baptisms and weddings. You can see the genealogy of the Opokovs, photos and documents of parents, brothers and sisters, as well as contemporary publications, newspaper publications.

The central place in the museum's exposition is given to materials about the period of Hrushevsky's life as a politician who headed the Ukrainian Central Rada from March 1917 to April 1918 during the period of national uplift and revival of the Ukrainian state.

The museum is located next to the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin, where Hrushevsky's grandfather served. A monument was erected in honor of the 135th anniversary of the birth of Mykhaylo Hrushevsky.

У дитячі роки Михайло Грушевський неодноразово приїздив до Сестринівки, сюди він приїжджав і під час канікул в університеті, потім часто згадував село у своїх творах.

В експозиції представлено багато унікальних речей, серед яких є метрична книга місцевої церкви, де записана Глафіра Опокова: її хрестини та вінчання. Можна побачити родовід Опокових, світлини і документи батьків, братів і сестер, а також тогочасні видання, газетні публікації.

Центральне місце в експозиції музею відведено матеріалам про період життя Грушевського як політика, що очолював з березня 1917 року по квітень 1918 року у період національного піднесення і відродження Української держави Українську Центральну Раду.

Музей розташований поруч із церквою Покрови Пресвятої Богородиці, де служив дід Грушевського. Встановлено пам'ятник на честь 135 річниці з дня народження Михайла Грушевського.
