General information about Fine Arts Museum (Mukachevo)
The Fine Arts Museum was founded in 1997 at the Mukachevo Boarding School of Art, now the Mukachevo Lyceum No. 8. The Lyceum is located in the premises of the former Hungarian State Royal Gymnasium, which was built in 1892.
The exhibits of the museum became the examination works of the graduates of the school in fine and decorative and applied arts – the best works of art of painting, graphics, embroidery, ceramics, carvings, moldings, straw appliqués, collages, etc. Here you can see embroidered towels, Easter eggs, paintings with Transcarpathian landscapes, various clay products.
Excursions to the Fine Arts Museum are conducted by members of the "Young Tour Guides" group.
Музей художніх мистецтв заснований у 1997 році при Мукачівській художній школі-інтернату, нинішньому Мукачівському ліцеї №8. Ліцей розташовується в приміщенні колишньої Угорської державної королівської гімназії, яка була збудована у 1892 році.
Експонатами музею стали екзаменаційні роботи випускників школи з образотворчого та декоративно-прикладного мистецтва – кращі мистецькі твори живопису, графіки, вишивки, кераміки, витинанки, ліпки, аплікації соломкою, колажі тощо. Тут можна побачити вишивані рушники, писанки, живописні полотна з закарпатськими пейзажами, різноманітні вироби з глини.
Екскурсії Музеєм художніх мистецтв проводять члени гуртка "Юні екскурсоводи".
