Science Museum of Poltava Polytechnic, Poltava

The Museum of Science in Poltava was opened in 2023 at the National University "Poltava Polytechnic named after Yuriy Kondratyuk" to the 205th anniversary of the establishment of the educational institution.

This is an interactive space where scientific discoveries made by mankind, inventions of Poltava Polytechnic scientists and the evolution of scientific progress are presented in an accessible and interesting form.

The basis of the exposition is made up of exhibits from the history of the Poltava Polytechnic - one of the most famous and oldest higher educational institutions of the Poltava region. Музей науки у Полтаві відкрився 2023 року при Національному університеті "Полтавська політехніка імені Юрія Кондратюка" до 205-ї річниці від заснування навчального закладу.

Це інтерактивний простір, де у доступній і цікавій формі представлені наукові відкриття, зроблені людством, винаходи вчених Полтавської політехніки та еволюція наукового прогресу.

Основу експозиції складають експонати з історії Полтавської політехніки – одного з найвідоміших і найстаріших вищих навчальних закладів Полтавщини. Він розміщується в історичній будівлі Інституту шляхетних дівчат – пам’ятці архітектури першої половини ХІХ століття. Сучасний університет був заснований у 1930 році як Полтавський інститут сільськогосподарського будівництва.
