The Ski Museum at the Pylypets ski resort was opened in 2025 by the owner of the "Horianyn" hotel complex, Volodymyr Petryshche. He had been developing his idea for over 15 years.

The exhibition is dedicated to the formation and development of skiing in Transcarpathia from the beginning of the 20th century, when wealthy Austrians and Hungarians began to use skis for winter mountain walks. Later, this means of transportation through the snow-capped mountains played a significant role in the fighting during the First World War. The active development of Pylypets as a ski resort occurred at the beginning of the 2000s, when the first ski lifts were launched here. Old photographs and rare artifacts of antiquity tell about all this.
