General information about Holy Trinity Cathedral (Dnipro)
The Holy Trinity Cathedral is the main temple of the Dnipro. It was founded as the Church of the Holy Spirit on the site of an old wooden church, the construction was carried out with patronage funds of local merchants.
In the 30s of the 20th century, the church was closed by the Bolsheviks, but in 1941 the service was restored and continues to this day.
The main shrine is the Novokaydatska (Samarska) icon of the Mother of God.
The diocesan center is located nearby.
Свято-Троїцький кафедральний собор - головний храм Дніпра. Був закладений як церква Святого Духа на місці старої дерев'яної церкви, будівництво велося на меценатські кошти місцевих купців.
В 30-х роках XX століття храм закрили більшовики, проте в 1941 році богослужіння було відновлено та проходить донині.
Головна святиня - Новокайдацька (Самарська) ікона Божої Матері.
Поруч розташований єпархіальний центр.
