General information about Pharmacy-Museum (Lutsk)
The pharmacy museum is located in the premises of an old pharmacy built in Lutsk by the Zlotsky family at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The pharmacy laboratory used more than 200 species of medicinal plants to prepare medicines, ointments, tinctures and syrups. In 1882, Lesya Ukrayinka often bought medicines here.
In 1920, the pharmacy established extraction from an artesian well and the sale of mineral water.
Аптека-музей розташована в приміщенні старої аптеки, збудованої у Луцьку родиною Злоцьких на рубежі XVIII-ХІХ століть.
Для приготування ліків, мазей, настоянок та сиропів аптечна лабораторія використовувала понад 200 видів лікарських рослин. В 1882 році тут часто купувала лікарські препарати Леся Українка.
У 1920 році в аптеці було засновано видобуток з артезіанської свердловини та продаж мінеральної води.
