General information about Prince Trubetskoi Palace (Kozatske)
The ruins of the palace of Prince Piotr Trubetskoi in Kozatske are one of the few surviving noble estates of the Kherson region.
The palace was built in the style of the French Renaissance on the high bank of the Dnipro. The main entrance with a stone gate and a corner fortress tower faces the river. Retaining walls with archbutanes support the general style of defensive architecture. One of the wings is made in pseudo-Gothic style.
The palace complex is located on the territory of a large, but extremely neglected park. Most of the buildings are in ruins. Currently, the palace is owned by Prince Trubetskoi OJSC, restoration is planned.
Руїни палацу князя Петра Трубецького в Козацькому - одна з небагатьох дворянських садиб Херсонщини, що збереглися.
Палац збудований у стилі французького ренесансу на високому березі Дніпра. Парадний вхід з кам'яною брамою та кутовою фортечною вежею звернений до річки. Підпірні мури з аркбутанами підтримують загальний стиль оборонної архітектури. Один із флігелів палацу виконаний у стилі псевдоготики.
Комплекс палацу розташований на території великого, але вкрай занедбаного парку. Більшість споруд перебувають у руїнах. Наразі палац перебуває у власності ВАТ "Князя Трубецького", планується реставрація.
