Museum / gallery , Ethnographic complex
The Ethnographic Museum in the village Borsuky, Odesa region, was opened in 2016 in an old house built in 1920, which is located in the center of the village, opposite the village House of Culture.
The museum's exhibition tells about Ukrainian folk architecture and the traditional life of the Podillia village. More than 500 authentic household and agricultural items, old photographs, scarves and towels, and a working loom are presented. Most of the items were donated to the museum by the residents of the village of Borsuky.
The museum offers excursions, master classes in Petrykivka painting, embroidery, weaving, cooking traditional Ukrainian dishes, baking a wedding loaf. Visitors are offered to taste ceremonial porridge, which is an intangible cultural heritage of the village.
