Broshniv-Osada

The urban-type village of Broshniv-Osada is located in the valley of the Limnytsia River between the cities of Dolyna and Kalush in the territory of the Eastern Boykivshchyna subregion. Administratively, it is part of the Kalussh district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

The village of Broshniv-Osada arose at the end of the 19th century as a settlement for the workers of the woodworking factory of entrepreneurs Schreier and Ishter, which opened in 1888 near the ancient village of Broshniv. In the 20th century, there was an extensive network of narrow-gauge railways (not preserved).

The oldest preserved building of the town is the administration building of the forestry enterprise of Josef Glezinger, built in 1927. In 1946-1953, there was a transit point for the deportatio ...

Rooms-museums of the history of the OUN-UPA and Volodymyr Ivasyuk operate in the village.

Cелище міського типу Брошнів-Осада розташоване в долині річки Лімниця між містами Долина і Калуш на території субрегіону Східна Бойківщина. Адміністративно входить до складу Калуського району Івано-Франківської області.

Селище Брошнів-Осада виникло наприкінці XIX століття як поселення робітників деревообробний заводу підприємців Шраєра та Іштера, який відкрився у 1888 році поблизу старовинного села Брошнів. У XX столітті тут існувала розгалужена мережа вузькоколійної залізниці (не збереглася).

Найдавнішою збереженою будівлею містечка є будинок адміністрації лісогосподарського підприємства Йозефа Глезінгера, збудований у 1927 році. У 1946-1953 роках тут був пересильний пункт для депортації українців до Сибіру (колишній табір для військовополонених).
