Saints Peter and Paul Church
Temple , Architecture
The Catholic Church of Saints Peter and Paul in the village of Stepove was built in 1881-1885 by German settlers.
The first Catholic church built in Stepove in 1820-1830 was made of limestone and straw. The new Peter and Paul Church in the neo-Gothic style was built of solid shell.
Currently, the dilapidated church belongs to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate, but restoration work is not being carried out. Deprived of ceilings, the church building is gradually collapsing.
