Domanivka is a village on the banks of the Chortala River, 50 kilometers south of Pervomaisk.
It arose at the beginning of the 19th century on the site of a small farm belonging to the Moldovanyn Khudobashiv, when the landowner Domanivskyi received these lands (hence the name of the village).
Bronze Age burials (II millennium BC) and Scythian mounds (IV-II centuries BC) were discovered near the village.
One of the alternative routes from Kyiv to Crimea passes through Domanivka.
