A beer museum will be opened in Rivne

Half a thousand exhibits for the future beer museum were collected by the director of the Rivne Brewery and the initiator of the establishment, Maryan Goda. He collected the exhibits on his own for three years, and now he is calling on those willing to join in filling the exhibits, "Suspilne" reports.

Maryan Goda keeps her own collection of rare bottles in her office. All these products are planned to be exhibited in the Rivne Beer and Hop Growing Museum in the future.

"At first, I collected bottles that belonged to this brewery. There is a bottle here that is over a hundred years old. It was probably produced in 1900, at most - in 1909," the collector says.

In addition to beer bottles, he has mugs in his collection, he says he has more than three hundred of them. There are also barrels, laboratory equipment and archival documents. Maryan Goda collected this collection for three years. He shared that he bought some things from other collectors:

"Today, a historical bottle can cost 500-1000 hryvnias, I bought mugs mainly in Germany from 15 euros to 40-50 and more. It is wrong when these exhibits are in one room, in my study, visitors should see them."

The brewery in Rivne was founded approximately in the 40s of the 19th century. In the 20th century, it became the largest production of beer in Volyn, Maryan Goda said.

The first director of the Rivne brewery, Hersh Pisyuk, lived in a house on Petra Mohyla Street. There they plan to set up the Museum of beer and hops in historic Volyn. Here they will present the history of brewing not only in Rivne, but also in Lutsk, Vovkovyiv, Semidubyv, Kremenets, Kvasylov and Glynsk.

"Right now is the period of designing, establishing the museum, historians and specialists are working, because I really wanted this museum to be not as classical as we are used to seeing: stands, exhibits, something hanging on the walls, some kind of documentation. I would like to make it so modern, interactive, multimedia, using 3D technologies, so that visitors can come in and see the atmosphere that existed 100 or more years ago," Maryan Goda shares her plans.

Currently, the director of the brewery calls on those who wish to participate in filling the museum's exhibits:

"If there are any materials, documents, exhibits, we are ready to buy them and exhibit them. Moreover, we can make a sign that this exhibit was donated by such and such a person."

Maryan Goda has not yet announced the exact date of the opening, the museum is tentatively planned to be presented in 2024. As of September 2023, he collected half a thousand exhibits for exhibitions.

Пів тисячі експонатів для майбутнього музею пива зібрав директор Рівненського пивзаводу та ініціатор створення закладу Мар'ян Года. Експонати він самостійно збирав впродовж трьох років, а тепер закликає охочих долучитись до наповнення експозицій, повідомляє "Суспільне".

Власну колекцію раритетних пляшок Мар'ян Года тримає поки у своєму кабінеті. Всі ці вироби планує експонувати у майбутньому Музеї пива та хмелярства у Рівному.

"Спочатку я збирав пляшки, які належали цьому пивзаводу. Тут є пляшка, якій понад сто років. Вона, мабуть, випущена в 1900 максимум – у 1909 році", – розповідає колекціонер.

Окрім пляшок з-під пива, у колекції має кухлі, їх у нього, каже, понад триста штук. Також є бочки, лабораторне обладнання та архівні документи. Збирав цю колекцію Мар'ян Года впродовж трьох років. Поділився, що деякі речі викупив у інших колекціонерів:

"На сьогодні історична пляшка може коштувати 500-1000 гривень, кухлі купував переважно в Німеччині від 15 євро до 40-50 і вище. Це неправильно, коли ці експонати стоять в одному приміщенні, в мене в кабінеті, їх повинні бачити відвідувачі".

Заснована пивоварня у Рівному орієнтовно у 40-х роках 19-го століття. У 20-му столітті вона стала найбільшим виробництвом пива на Волині, розповів Мар'ян Года.

Перший директор рівненського пивзаводу – Герш Пісюк жив у будинку на вулиці Петра Могили. Там і планують облаштувати Музей пива та хмелярства історичної Волині. Тут представлять історію пивоваріння не лише Рівного, а й Луцька, Вовковиїв, Семидубів, Кременця, Квасилова та Глинська.

"Зараз якраз період проєктування, становлення музею, працюють історики, спеціалісти, бо дуже хотілося, щоб цей музей був не такий класичний, як ми звикли бачити: стенди, експонати, на стінах щось висить, якась документація. Хотілось би зробити його таким сучасним, інтерактивним, мультимедійним, з використанням 3D технологій, аби відвідувачі могли зайти і побачити ту атмосферу, яка була 100 чи більше років тому", – ділиться планами Мар'ян Года.

Наразі директор пивзаводу закликає охочих долучитися до наповнення експозицій музею:

"Якщо є якісь матеріали, документи, експонати, ми готові їх купити, виставити. Більше того – можемо зробити табличку, що цей експонат подарований такою-то людиною".

Точної дати відкриття Мар'ян Года поки не назвав, попередньо планують презентувати музей у 2024 році. Станом на вересень 2023-го для експозицій він зібрав пів тисячі експонатів.
