A little-known manor estate in Udriivtsi may not survive the next winter if the roof of its neo-Gothic tower is not urgently repaired.

The collection of funds for the conservation of the Łoziński Palace in the village of Udriivtsi in Khmelnytskyi region was announced by the public organization "Udriivtsi - the historical heritage of Podillia", which takes care of the fate of this architectural monument. Co-founder of the organization, volunteer Larysa Mishchynska announced this on her Facebook page.

According to her, first of all, it is necessary to urgently repair the damaged roof of the decorative neo-Gothic tower.

"If we don't pull it down before winter and cover the destroyed part of the roof, we will lose it, because it may not survive another winter," the volunteer emphasizes.

The Neo-Gothic palace in Udriivtsy was built in 1841 by the local landowner Łoziński. For a long time, the village school was housed in the building. Recently, the monument has been empty and is gradually falling into disrepair.

The public organization "Udriivtsi - the historical heritage of Podillia" was created in 2022 by a group of enthusiasts for the revival of the historical and cultural heritage of the Podillia village with the aim of further restoration of the building. Since then, volunteers have organized several clearings, cutting down the bushes around, clearing the road to the estate and the nearby pond.

"We have already done the main bureaucratic work, the documents for the lease of the estate have been drawn up. During the summer, the current necessary works were carried out: we cleared the road near the palace from littering, natural garbage, thickets, and brushwood. There is still a lot of work to do... Again we are forced to ask for help from friends , who are not indifferent to history and architecture," writes Larysa Mishchynska.

Збір коштів на консервацію палацу Лозинських в селі Удріївці на Хмельниччині оголосила громадська організація "Удріївці – історична спадщина Поділля", яка опікується долею цієї архітектурної пам'ятки. Про це повідомила на свтоїй сторінці у Facebook співзасновниця організації, волонтерка Лариса Міщинська.

За її словами, насамперед необхідно терміново відремонтувати пошкоджений дах декоративної неоготичної вежі. 

"Якщо ми до зими його не стягнемо та не перекриємо зруйновану частину даху, ми його втратимо, бо ще одну зиму він може і не пережити", – наголошує волонтерка.

Неоготичний палац в Удріївцях збудував у 1841 році місцевий поміщик Лозинський. Протягом тривалого часу в будівлі розміщувалася сільська школа. Останнім часом пам'ятка стоїть пусткою та поступово руйнується.

Громадську організацію "Удріївці – історична спадщина Поділля" створила у 2022 році група ентузіастів відродження історико-культурної спадщини подільського села з метою подальшої реставрації будівлі. З тих пір волонтери організували декілька толок, вирубавши чагарники навколо, розчистивши дорогу до маєтку і ставка поруч.

"Ми вже зробили основну бюрократичну роботу, документи на оренду маєтку оформлено. За літо проводились поточні необхідні роботи: розчистили дорогу біля палацу від засмічення, стихійних смітників, заростей, косовиці. Ще роботи надзвичайно багато... Знову ми вимушені звернутися по допомогу до друзів, яким не байдужа історія та архітектура", – пише Лариса Міщинська.
