Скульптурний образ Солохи змальовано з персонажу повісті Миколи Гоголя "Ніч перед Різдвом" та радянського кінофільму "Вечори на хуторі біля Диканьки". На постаменті викарбувано афоризм українського письменника Павла Загребельного: "Військо можна перемогти – жінку ніколи!".
