Bratske Historical and Local Lore Museum named after Mykhaylo Radkevych

Museum / gallery

The municipal institution "Bratske Historical and Local Lore Museum named after Mykhaylo Radkevych" was established in 1971 on a non-profit basis. It is located in the center of the village of Bratske in a separate two-story building.

The museum's exposition is located in six halls with a total area of ​​177 square meters. The museum's funds exceed 4 thousand exhibits, which are presented for viewing on the following topics: "The Land in the Distant Past", "Outstanding People of the Bratske Region", "Holodomor in Ukraine", "World War II", "The Tragedy and Valor of Afghanistan", "Modernity", which reveal the history of the village and the region from ancient times to the present day.

The museum is named after Mykhaylo Radkevych, who in the summer of 1971 headed a permanent local history folklore and ethnographic expedition, which initiated the creation of the museum and on whose initiative in 1988 the museum was provided with a separate premises.
