Cities and villages of Kramatorsk district

Kramatorsk district (Kramatorskyi) is located in the northern part of Donetsk region, in the historical and ethnographic territory of Slobozhanshchina. The Seversky Donets River flows within the district.

The nature reserve fund of the district includes the Holy Mountains National Nature Park, the Cretaceous Flora Nature Reserve, the Kleban-Byk Regional Landscape Park, the Kramatorsk Regional Landscape Park with the Belokuzminsky Cretaceous Rocks, and the Druzhlivsky Geological Monument "Druzhkivski petrified trees". There are such historical and cultural monuments as the Holy Dormition Svyatohirsk Lavra, the Holy Resurrection Church in Sloviansk, etc. Slavkurort sanatoriums operate on the basis of Slovyansk mineral waters.

Краматорський район розташований у північній частині Донецької області, на історико-етнографічній території Слобожанщини. В межах району протікає річка Сіверський Донець.

До природно-заповідного фонду району відносяться Національний природний парк "Святі гори", природний заповідник "Крейдова флора", Регіональний ландшафтний парк "Клебан-Бик", Краматорський регіональний ландшафтний парк з Білокузьминівськими крейдяними скелями, геологічна пам'ятка природи "Дружківські скам'янілі дерева". Тут розташовані такі історико-культурні пам'ятки, як Свято-Успенська Святогірська Лавра, Свято-Воскресенський храм у Слов'янську тощо. На базі мінеральних вод Слов'янська функціонують санаторії "Славкурорту".
