Banyliv-Pidhirnyi

Banyliv-Pidhirnyi is a large village in the Bukovyna foothills of the Carpathians, 25 kilometers northwest of Storozhynets. It stretched for several kilometers along the Maly Seret River and its mountain tributaries.

It was first mentioned in 1428. The development of Banyliv began after German immigrants from Bohemia founded the Avhustendorf colony here in 1850. In 1903, they built a Trinitarian monastery (now a boarding school) with a stone church of Saint Martin, which has been preserved to this day and returned to the Catholic community. Two palaces have also been preserved from Austrian times, one of which houses a local hospital, and the other a children's camp.

On the territory of the Banyliv Forestry, the "Zubrovytsia" reserve contains the largest population of bison in Ukraine.

Банилів-Підгірний - велике село в буковинських передгір'ях Карпат, в 25 кілометрах на північний захід від Сторожинця. Розтягнулося на кілька кілометрів уздовж річки Малий Серет і його гірських приток.

Вперше згадується в 1428 році. Розвиток Банилова почався після того, як в 1850 році німецькі переселенці з Богемії заснували тут колонію Августендорф. В 1903 році вони побудували тринітарський монастир (зараз інтернат) з кам'яним костелом Святого Мартина, який зберігся понині та повернений католицькій громаді. В селі є три джерела мінеральної хлоридно-натрієвої води "Підгорної". На річці Думитриця в 2 кілометрах від Банилова-Підгірного розташований водоспад "Королівський" висотою 3 метри.

На території Банилівского лісництва в заказнику "Зубровиця" міститься найбільше в Україні поголів'я зубрів.

Розвивається зелений туризм.
