The village of Vysichka above the Nichlava River is located 2 kilometers northwest of Borshchiv.

It is known since the 17th century, when a defensive castle was built here. In 1672, it was captured by the Turks, and in 1675, the Polish king Yan Sobieskyi stayed in the castle with his army.
