The village of Stinka on the banks of the Dniester is located 20 kilometers northwest of Buchach.
It has been known since 1453, but the settlement existed as early as the 12th-13th centuries (an ancient Rus settlement and an early Christian cave temple were discovered).
Since 1797, the wooden church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos has been operating, in 1921 a stone temple was built, and in 1928 the People's House was opened.
The greatest tourist interest is the cave temple, which had cult significance even in pagan times, as evidenced by the mysterious signs on the cave walls.
