The village of Zarubyntsi is located 10 kilometers northeast of Andrushivka.
Known since 1602. In 1746, the wooden Intercession Church was laid, which was rebuilt in the 19th century and has survived to this day.
In the middle of the 19th century, the village (together with the neighboring Tarasivka) belonged to the landowner Antoniy Prushynsky. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the land was purchased by Artemiy Tereshchenko. There were 8 mills, 2 forges, 3 shops and a church school in the village. In 1941, there were 1885 inhabitants and 454 yards.

The wooden Church of the Holy Intercession is located in the center of the village of Zarubyntsi, it is an architectural monument of local importance.
It was built in the second half of the 19th century on the site of an older temple mentioned in 1746.
The temple underwent several reconstructions, but preserved its original forms.
