Koreiz

The resort village Koreiz is located 12 km west of Yalta at an altitude of over 100 meters above sea level.

One of the oldest villages in Crimea, it has been mentioned since the 8th century as a center of trade (translated from Greek as "populated place"). Nowadays it administratively includes the settlement of Miskhor.

In 1904, the Art Nouveau Yusupov Palace was built, in which the Soviet government delegation was housed during the Yalta Conference in 1945.

The lower station of the cable car leading to the top of Ai-Petri is located here.

Курортне селище Кореїз розташоване в 12 кілометрах на захід від Ялти на висоті понад 100 метрів над рівнем моря.

Одне з найстаріших селищ Криму, згадується з VIII століття як центр торгівлі (в перекладі з грецького "населене місце"). Зараз адміністративно включає в себе селище Місхор.

У 1904 році побудований Юсупівський палац в стилі модерн, в якому під час Ялтинської конференції 1945 році розміщувалася радянська урядова делегація.

Тут розташована нижня станція канатної дороги, що веде на вершину Ай-Петрі.
