Lisnyky

The elite village of Lisnyky is located on the Novoobukhivska highway, 4 kilometers from Kyiv.

It existed even during the times of Kyivan Rus, during the fasts, the monk Antoniy Pecherskyi secluded himself in caves here. The village was first mentioned in written sources in 1498. In the 16th century, it belonged to the Koretsky princes, who built a castle on one of the mountains above the village (not preserved). After the Liberation War, the village became the property of the Vydubysky Monastery.

Near the Church of the Transfiguration, under an old tree, there is a stone tombstone of the local priest Fedir Hrushevskyi, the grandfather of the historian and first president of Ukraine Mykhaylo Hrushevskyi. At the village school founded by Fedir Hrushevsky, a local history muse ...

Існувало ще за часів Київської Русі, під час постів тут усамітнювався в печерах преподобний Антоній Печерський. В письмових джерелах село вперше згадується в 1498 році. В XVI столітті належало князям Корецьким, які звели замок на одній з гір над селом (не зберігся). Після Визвольної війни село перейшло у власність Видубицького монастиря.

Поруч з Преображенською церквою під віковим деревом знаходиться кам'яний надгробок місцевого священика Федора Грушевського, діда історика та першого президента України Михайла Грушевського. При заснованій Федором Грушевським сільській школі створено краєзнавчий музей, біля входу встановлено пам'ятник Михайлу Грушевському.
