Sytniaky

The village of Sytniaky is located on the Kyiv-Zhytomyr highway not far from the border of the regions.

It was founded in 1616 by the landowner Stefan Lozka.

In the 18th century, Sytniaky were part of the Rozhevsky Starostvo, which was handed over by Augustus III to the nobleman Bartholomew Mikhalovsky. After the division of Poland, they again became a state village.

In the 19th century, a Jewish colony existed near Sytniaky.

A monument to the victims of the Holodomor was erected.

Село Ситняки розташоване на трасі Київ-Житомир неподалік від кордону областей.

Засноване в 1616 році поміщиком Стефаном Лозкою.

В XVIII столітті Ситняки входили до Рожевського староства, яке було передано Августом III шляхтичу Варфоломію Михаловському. Після поділу Польщі знову стали казенним селом.

В XIX столітті при Ситняках існувала єврейська колонія.

Встановлено пам'ятник жертвам Голодомору.
