The Shepylove village on the Svynartsia River is located three kilometers east of Holovanivsk. Administratively, it is part of the Holovanivsk hromada of the Holovanivsk district of the Kirovohradsky region.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1764. At that time it was the property of the Potocki Polish magnates. In the 19th century, Shepylove was part of the Holovanivsk Volost of the Balta District of the Podillya Province.
During the Holodomor of 1932-1933, at least 138 villagers died.
Cело Шепилове на річці Свинарці розташоване за три кілометри на схід від Голованівська. Адміністративно входить до складу Голованівської громади Голованівського району Кіровоградської області.
Перша письмова згадка про село датується 1764 роком. В цей час воно було власністю польських магнатів Потоцьких. У XIX століття Шепилове входило до Голованівської волості Балтського повіту Подільської губернії.
Під час Голодомору 1932-1933 років загинуло не менше 138 жителів села.
From Trypillya to the Present Day Museum

The private museum and educational complex "From Trypillya to the Present Day Museum" in the village of Shepylove near Holovanivsk was opened in 2019 by the famous artist, teacher and public figure, Professor Valeriy Marchak.
The main part of the complex is the Ukrainian People Household Culture Museum. In the old country house purchased by the founder, his personal collection of folk objects, which he has been collecting for half a century, is presented - products of ceramics, embroidery, weaving, folk pictures, icons.
The complex also includes the Modern Art Museum and the Museum of Trypillya Civilization and the Veles Book.
