Poliany

The village of Poliany is located 10 kilometers southeast of Zolochiv, next to the highway N-02 Lviv - Ternopil.

It was first mentioned in 1453 as Rykiv. It belonged to the Polish magnates Senensky, who built the castle (not preserved). The next owners were the Tsentner, Sobesky, Radzyvill, Shvaykart, Hirsky, Volsky.

The stone Peter and Paul Church and the wooden Church of the Resurrection of the Lord have been preserved. There is a school in the former Count's Palace.

Село Поляни розташоване в 10 кілометрах на південний схід від Золочева, поруч з трасою Н-02 Львів - Тернопіль.

Вперше згадується в 1453 році як Риків. Належало польським магнатам Сененським, які побудували замок (не зберігся). Наступними власниками були Цетнери, Собєські, Радзивілли, Швайкарти, Гурські, Вольські.

Зберігся кам'яний Петропавлівський костел і дерев'яна церква Воскресіння Господнього. В колишньому графському палаці діє школа.
