Pylypets

Pylypets is one of the largest villages in Mizhhirya region, a ski resort at an altitude of 700-750 m. The village is located on the banks of the mountain river of the same name on the Mizhhirya-Volovets highway. According to legend, it is named after the founder of the shepherd Pylyp.

The wooden church of the Nativity of the Virgin (1780) has been preserved. There is a Museum of Models of Wooden Churches, which presents 30 models carved by the folk master Andriy Vorobets.
