The village of Shamraivka on the Rostavitsa River is located on the R-32 road between Skvyra and Bila Tserkva.
It was first mentioned in the 16th century. The name is associated with the first settler named Shamrai. Church of Saint Spyridon was built in 1841 according to the will of Countess Oleksandra Branytska from Bila Tserkva. In the second half of the 19th century, a water mill with an oil mill was launched in Shamraivka, which are still functioning.
The singer Tayisiya Povaliy comes from Shamraivka.

Вперше згадується в XVI сторіччі. Назву пов'язують з першим поселенцем на ім'я Шамрай. Спиридонівська церква збудована в 1841 році за заповітом графині Олександри Браницької з Білої Церкви. В другій половині XIX століття в Шамраївці був запущений водяний млин з олійницею, які функціонують дотепер.

The Church of Saint Spyridon of Trymiunsky was built in Shamrayivka in 1839-1841 according to the will of Countess Oleksandra Branytska from Bila Tserkva.
To atone for her sins, Countess Branytska vowed to build 12 churches on her land, and some of them were completed after her death.
The Spyridon Church in Shamraivka is an example of provincial classicism. The temple is single-domed, cross-shaped in plan, ascetically decorated. An architectural monument of national importance.

The water mill was built in Shamraivka in the 19th century. In 1907, the three-story building of the mill was reconstructed, and an oil mill was completed.
The complex still works as intended, the original equipment has been preserved.
