Kniazhdvir

The village of Kniazhdvir is located on the Prut River 10 kilometers from Kolomyia.

It was probably founded in the 12th century by Prince Roman Mstislavych, which is where the name comes from (the remains of the princely castle are preserved on the slope of Mount Urvishte). Residents have long been engaged in salt making.

Tourists are attracted by the Yew Reserve (1914), which you can learn more about in the Museum of Nature. The main value is the berry yew, the oldest tree is 500 years old. A recreation area with observation paths and places for rest has been created, and the private hotel business is developing.

Село Княждвір розташоване на річці Прут в 10 кілометрах від Коломиї.

Засноване імовірно в XII столітті князем Романом Мстиславичем, звідки і пішла назва (на схилі гори Урвище збереглися залишки князівського замку). Жителі здавна займалися солеварінням.

Туристів приваблює Тисовий заповідник (1914 рік), докладніше про який можна дізнатися в Музеї природи. Основною цінністю є тис ягідний, найстарішому дереву 500 років. Створена рекреаційна зона з оглядовими доріжками та місцями для відпочинку, розвивається приватний готельний бізнес.
