"Koka" Museum-Workroom of Strynadyuk Family

The museum of the Strynadyuk creative family in Kosiv was opened by the famous Ukrainian master carver Mykola Strynadyuk, who works under the creative pseudonym "Koka", at his creative workroom.
Mykola Strynadyuk was born and grew up in a Kosiv family of artisan carvers, studied at the Kosiv Technical School of Folk Art Crafts, and worked as a master of wood carving and interior design all his life. His sons Bohdan and Zakhar continue the family business. Mykola Strynadyuk's works are distinguished by the author's technique, which combines traditional techniques of carving with toning, application and even embroidery.
The exposition presents more than a hundred of the master's own works. Among them are ornamental icons, plates, paintings, copies of Hutsul hand crosses, traditional zgards and modern decorations. A collection of antique and rare porcelain cups is also presented.
Nearby is the Museum of Sacred Art, where the works of Taras Strynadyuk, Mykola's brother, are presented.
Carpathian Culture Center

The multi-functional cultural and creative hub "Carpathian Culture Center" in Kosiv was created in 2023 on the basis of the reconstructed building of the former carpet workshop of the "Hutsulshchyna" Industrial and Artistic Association at the initiative of the "Hutsuliya" Tourist Association.
In the premises of the "Carpathian Culture Center" there are workshops of folk crafts, exhibitions and master classes are held. In particular, the Vandra Rugs weaving studio producing handmade carpets and Serhiy Dutka's ceramic workshop are operating.
The public space "Vilni" functions on the first floor.
Hutsulshchyna National Nature Park

National Nature Park "Hutsulshchyna" is located in the picturesque forest part of the Pokuttya-Bukovyna Carpathians.
Its area is more than 32 thousand hectares. The terrain combines foothills and mountain ranges. Deciduous forests predominate in the lowlands, low mountains are covered with beech-hornbeam forests, and Carpathian spruce (spruce) grows mainly at altitude. 19 species of animals living here are listed in the Red Book.
These places are interesting because ancient crafts, folk crafts, traditions and customs of the Hutsuls have been preserved here.
Many tourist routes pass through the territory of the national park. Ecological educational trails have been laid here, equestrian tourism, rural green tourism, and ethnotourism are developing. Lovers of water recreation are attracted by the rapids and waterfalls of the Lyuchka, Pistynka, and Cheremosh rivers.
The Nature Museum operates in the central manor of the Hutsulshchyna National Park.

The private museum of Hutsul art of the Kornelyuk family was established in the yard of their private house in Kosiv.
The museum presents a large collection of Hutsul hats, towels, ceramic plates, axes and Hutsul household items.
Kosiv Bazaar

Kosiv Bazaar - a traditional Hutsul fair in the city of Kosiv, the largest in Prykarpattya.
Almost all products of Hutsul decorative and applied art are presented here: ceramic dishes, carpets, embroidered clothes, products made of iron, leather, and fur. Souvenir products are offered at wholesale prices.
Previously, the fair was held in the center of Kosiv. Now the market has been moved to the eastern outskirts of the city, to a large shopping area near the Kutsky bridge (Kosiv-Kuty street; 48°18'59''N, 25°6'42''E).
The Great Kosiv Bazaar is open only on Saturdays early in the morning (from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.).
The rest of the time, branded souvenir pavilions of the best Kosiv folk craftsmen are open in the very center of the city, next to the old Kosiv Bazaar.
