The village of Kniazhychi is located 15 kilometers east of Kyiv, near the Brovary district.
Probably, in the 10th century, there was a princely fortress at this place, which is where the name came from. The first documentary mention is in the deed of the Polish king Kazymyr to the Kyiv voivode Yuriy Pats from 1489. In 1709, the owner became the owner of the Saint Michael's Golden Domed Cathedral, then the Shuysky princes.
Architectural monuments have not been preserved.
Now it is a recreational area and a promising direction of suburban cottage construction.
