Hurivshchyna

The village of Hurivshchyna is located on the highway M-06 Kyiv - Chop, 10 kilometers from the KP at the exit from Kyiv in the direction of Zhytomyr.

It was first mentioned in 1735. In 1846, a post office was opened on the Brest-Litovsk postal route near Huriv region (now in the village of Lyubimivka).

At the end of 2013, at the height of the "Revolution of Dignity", a cross-memorial "Fighters for the Freedom of Ukraine" was erected in Hurivshchyna.

The village is home to the Victoria Film Studios, which attracts attention with its entrance gate in the form of a fairy-tale castle.

Село Гурівщина розташоване на трасі М-06 Київ - Чоп, в 10 кілометрах від КП на виїзді з Києва в бік Житомира.

Вперше згадується в 1735 році. В 1846 році на Брест-Литовському поштовому тракті недалеко від Гурівщини було відкрито поштову станцію (зараз - в селі Любимівка).

В кінці 2013 року в розпал "Революції гідності", в Гурівщині було встановлено хрест-меморіал "Борцям за волю України".

В селі знаходиться кіностудія Victoria Film Studios, яка приваблює увагу в'їзними воротами у вигляді казкового замку.
