Rohoziv

The village of Rohoziv is located on the Kyiv-Cherkasy highway, 16 kilometers from Boryspil.

It arose at the turn of the XV-XVI centuries, was first mentioned in 1525. The name comes either from the name of the first settler, or from the swampy area where the cattail grew.

In Polish-Lithuanian times, the village belonged to the Lozka nobles, then to the Olizars. In the 18th century, it was part of the Pereyaslav regiment, then it became the center of the parish, then the district.

The wooden Saint Nicolas Church was built in 1905-1906.

Село Рогозів розташоване на трасі Київ-Черкаси в 16 кілометрах від Борисполя.

Виникло на рубежі XV-XVI сторічь, вперше згадується в 1525 році. Назва походить або від імені першого поселенця, або від болотистої місцевості, де росла рогоза.

В польсько-литовські часи село належало шляхтичам Лозкам, потім Олізарам. В XVIII столітті входило до складу Переяславського полку, потім стало центром волості, потім району.

Дерев'яна Миколаївська церква побудована в 1905-1906 роках.
