Rizhky

The village of Rizhky is located between Tarashcha and highway M-05 (E-95) "Kyiv - Odesa".

It was first mentioned in 1744. According to legend, the village was founded by Zaporizhzhia Cossacks who settled on the banks of the Zhyhalka River, in its bend ("corner").

In 1848, the stone church of Saint Luke was built. In 1984, the temple was destroyed, and in its place in 1992 a new church was built. The miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Rizhky is preserved in the church.

The village is also known for its healing spring, which is considered to be the place where the Virgin Mary appeared.

Село Ріжки розташоване між Таращею і трасою М-05 (Е-95) "Київ - Одеса".

Вперше згадується в 1744 році. За легендою, село засноване запорозьким козаком, що оселилися на березі річки Жигалка, в її вигині ("ріжку").

В 1848 році була побудована кам'яна церква Святого Луки. В 1984 році храм було зруйновано, а на його місці в 1992 році зведена нова церква. В храмі зберігається чудотворна ікона Ріжковської Божої Матері.

Село відоме також цілющим джерелом, яке вважається місцем явлення Богородиці.
