Sulymivka

The village of Sulymivka on the Zhuravka River is located 15 kilometers east of Yahotyn, not far from the more famous Sulymivka, which is located near Boryspil.

The Yahotyn Sulymivka was founded in 1714 by General Horonzhim Ivan Sulyma, the grandson of the Zaporozhzhian hetman Ivan Sulyma, who was the founder of the Boryspil Sulymivka.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the village was owned by Yelyzaveta Dzevonovska, who allocated land for the construction of the Intercession Church (1905). The building of the zemstvo school (1914) now houses the club.
