The village of Pisky-Udaiski on the Udai River is located 20 kilometers northwest of Chornukhy.

It was founded in 1750 by the landowner Pishchanskyi on the Cossack lands. In 1890, it became the property of the landowner Hutsenko.

In 1909-1910, a 4-grade Zemsky school was built in the village according to the project of the architect Opanas Slastion, which has survived to this day.
