After many years of persistent painstaking work, a landmark new but historic tourist object for Lutsk is opening - the museum space "Okolny Castle". It includes the tower of the Chortoriysky princes, the dungeons of the Jesuit collegium and a fragment of the defensive wall.

The opening of the museum space "Okolny Castle" will take place this Friday, July 14, 2023. Organizers have prepared a number of events for visitors.

In particular, on the square in front of the Lutsk Castle from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., it will be possible to get acquainted with cross-border cooperation projects implemented by Ukrainian cities with European partners, there will be performances by folklore groups, master classes on folk crafts, horseback riding, and fudza.

From 15:00 it will be possible to go on a free excursion to the "Museum space "Okolny Castle". For comfort and to avoid queues, the organizers have created a registration form for advance registration.

After 15:00, in the courtyard of the NUHT college, there will be knightly fights, demonstration performances of medieval combat, archery, art plein air, an exhibition of works by students of the Lutsk art school, an exhibition of portraits of prominent figures of Lutsk, and a chamber music concert will begin at 19:00.

From July 15, the Museum Space "Okolny Castle" will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. without prior appointment.

Відкриття музейного простору "Окольний замок" відбудеться цієї п'ятниці, 14 липня 2023 року. Організатори підготували низку заходів для відвідувачів.

Зокрема, на площі перед Луцьким замком з 11:00 до 19:00 можна буде ознайомитися із проєктами транскордонного співробітництва, які реалізовувалися українськими містами з європейськими партнерами, відбуватимуться виступи фольклорних колективів, майстер-класи з народних ремесел, кінні прогулянки, діятиме фудзона.

З 15:00 можна буде потрапити на безкоштовну екскурсію в "Музейний простір "Окольний замок". Задля комфорту та уникнення черг, організатори створили реєстраційну форму попереднього запису.

Після 15:00 у дворі коледжу НУХТ відбуватимуться лицарські поєдинки, показові виступи середньовічного бою, стрільба з луку, художній пленер, виставка робіт учнів Луцької художньої школи, експонування галереї портретів видатних постатей Луцька, а о 19:00 розпочнеться концерт камерної музики.

З 15 липня "Музейний простір "Окольний замок" працюватиме щодня з 10:00 до 19:00 без попереднього запису.
