General information about Water Tower (Chornorudka)
A water tower in the form of a defensive tower of a medieval castle is located next to the "Chornorudka" railway station.
The tower was probably built by the sugar factory Artemiy Tereshchenko, who in the second half of the 19th century owned the lands of Chornorudka, as well as the sugar factory.
Today, the water tower is an architectural monument of local importance.
Водонапірна вежа у вигляді оборонної башти середньовічного замку розташована поряд із залізничною станцією "Чорнорудка".
Ймовірно, вежу збудував цукрозаводчик Артемій Терещенко, який у другій половині ХІХ століття володів землями Чорнорудки, а також цукровим заводом.
Нині водонапірна вежа є пам'яткою архітектури місцевого значення.
