General information about Saint George Church (Storozhynets)
Saint George's Church in Storozhynets was founded in 1829 and became the first large church in the city.
In its current form, it was rebuilt in 1888 at the expense of Kateryna Garste - the wife of Mykola Flondor.
Currently, the Saint George Church belongs to the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
Свято-Георгіївська церква у Сторожинці заснована в 1829 році, стала першим у місті великим храмом.
У нинішньому вигляді відбудована в 1888 році коштом Катерини Гарсте - дружини Миколи Флондора.
Нині Свято-Георгіївська церква належить до УПЦ московського патріархату.
