General information about Dvorichna Museum of Local Lore (Dvorichna)

The municipal institution "Dvorichna Museum of Local Lore" was founded in 1992.

It is located in a specially built room in the center of the village of Dvorichna.

The stock collection of the museum includes about 3,000 exhibits, which acquaint visitors with the history of the region, life and traditions of its inhabitants, famous people of Dvorichna region.

The historical exposition presents tools of the Stone Age, arrowheads of the Scythian era, remains of pottery from different times, as well as weapons from the Second World War: anti-tank gun ZIS-3, Maxim machine gun, Shpagin's machine-pistol, part of Dehtyaryov machine gun, Mosin rifle model 1891-1930, etc.

Комунальний заклад "Дворічанський краєзнавчий музей" заснований у 1992 році.

Розміщується у спеціально збудованому приміщенні в центрі селища Дворічна.

Фондова збірка музею налічує близько 3000 експонатів, які знайомлять відвідувачів з історією краю, побутом і традиціями його мешканців, відомими людьми Дворічанщини.

В історичній екпозиції представлені знаряддя праці кам’яного віку, наконечники стріл скіфської епохи, рештки глиняного посуду різних часів, а також зброя часів Другої світової війни: протитанкова гармата ЗИС-3, кулемет "Максим", пістолет-кулемет Шпагіна, частина кулемета Дєгтярьова, гвинтівка Мосіна зразка 1891-1930 року тощо.
