General information about Malyavsky Family Museum (Kosiv)
The museum of the creative family of Hennadiy and Anastasiya Malyavsky was created at the Kosiv Children's School of Arts.
The artist Hennadiy Malyavsky was from Ternopil region, graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, and taught at the Kosiv School of Applied Arts since 1961. Here he met his future wife Anastasiya Yusypchuk, who also became his partner on the artistic path.
The best examples of Malyavsky's painting include works made in the genres of landscape and portrait. Some of them are presented in the Malyavsky Family Museum. Among them are works in oil, tempera, graphics.

Музей творчої родини Геннадія та Анастасії Малявських створено при Косівській дитячій школі мистецтв.
Художник Геннадій Малявський був родом з Тернопільщини, закінчив Львівський державний інститут прикладного та декоративного мистецтва, з 1961 року викладав у Косівському училищі прикладного мистецтва. Тут зустрів свою майбутню дружину Анастасію Юсипчук, яка також стала його партнеркою по мистецькому шляху.
До кращих взірців живопису Малявського відносяться твори, виконані в жанрах пейзажу та портрета. Деякі з них представлені в Музеї родини Малявських. Серед них є роботи олією, темперою, графіка.
Також при Косівській дитячій школі мистецтв працює Музей народної творчості Михайла Струтинського.
