General information about Holy Trinity Cathedral (Yahotyn)
The Holy Trinity Cathedral was built on the central square of Yahotyn in 1800 at the initiative of Hetman of Ukraine Kyrylo Rozumovskyi.
The temple was made in the form of a rotunda.
It was completely destroyed in 1936. In 1999, restoration work began, which lasted for 17 years. On January 2, 2016, His Holiness Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv consecrated the newly built Trinity Cathedral.
Свято-Троїцький собор було збудовано на центральній площі Яготина в 1800 році з ініціативи гетьмана України Кирила Розумовського.
Храм було виконано у формі ротонди.
Був повністю знищений в 1936 році. В 1999 році почалися відновлювальні роботи, які тривали протягом 17 років. 2 січня 2016 року Святійший Патріарх Київський Філарет освятив новозбудований Троїцький собор.
