Cherniakhiv Local Lore Museum

The Cherniakhiv Museum of Local Lore was opened on the initiative of local educators in 2023 - almost half a century after its predecessor ceased to exist. It is located in the premises of the Cherniakhiv Village House of Culture.

The exposition tells about the ancient history of Cherniakhiv, the modern life of the village and its prominent residents. In particular, the archaeological section presents items of the Cherniakhiv culture from the stock of the Kaharlyk Museum of History and Local Lore.

The interior of a Ukrainian house of the 19th century has been recreated, where you can see ancient agricultural and household relics, embroidery, ceramics, vine and wood products. In the corner of household items of the mid-20th century, old radios, record players and typewriters are exhibited.
