The National Nature Park "Zacharovanyi Krai" (Enchanted Land) was created in 2009 on the territory of Irshava district of Zakarpattia region with a total area of 6101 hectares. Its central estate is located in the village Ilnytsia.
The main territory of the "Zacharovanyi Krai" National Park is located in the central part of the Vyhorlat-Hutynska Volcanic Ridge of the Eastern Carpathian foothills, along the Velykyi Dil ridge, on the southwestern slopes, the spurs of which descend to the outskirts of the villages of Osii, Ilnytsia, Pidhirne, and Krainia Martynka.
The territory of the park is mostly covered with dense forests, in particular beech forests, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here you can find 65 rare species of animals, including the European beaver, the forest cat, and the lynx.
At an altitude of 820-860 meters above sea level lies a unique sphagnum bog - Chorne Bahno. This is the deepest (6-7 meters) peat bog in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
Interesting objects are also the geological reserve of national importance "Zacharovana Dolyna" (Enchanted Valley), Smerekovyi Stone, Tron Stone, Rozkolotyi Stone, Guchalo and Shumylo waterfalls, etc. Walking routes lasting 2-4 hours have been laid to all these objects.
