Manor-Museum "Doll's House"

The "Doll's House" Manor-Museum was created by folk craftswoman Iryna Utianyna in her parents' yard in the village of Polianetske near Uman. She converted a former barn built by her parents into a museum room.

The exposition of ancient Ukrainian life contains old household items and the craftswoman's own work, which makes motanka dolls. On the walls are old family photos, household tools: pokers, antlers, jugs, kerosene lamps.

The hostess conducts excursions and master classes on making motanka dolls, baking bread in an oven with live yeast, old dances and songs. Guests are treated to herbal tea or uzvar and homemade pastries. Tastings of authentic dishes, evening parties and celebrations are offered. It is possible to spend the night at the estate.
