Settlement History Museum

The Yampil Settlement History Museum in the Khmelnytskyi Region opened in 2008 on the initiative of local historians. It is located in the vicinity of the Yampil Settlement House of Culture.

The exposition tells about the ancient history of the region, which is directly related to the Old Rus hillfort in neighboring Tykhomel, about the founding of the current Yampil by Prince Janusz Vilenskiy in the 16th century, about the development of the city's economy in the 18th-19th centuries, about the events of two world wars. A separate section is dedicated to the heroes of the current Russian-Ukrainian war.

Antique household items, embroidered clothes and towels are exhibited. The works of local folk craftsmen are presented.
